UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join the Hospitalist team at UPMC Williamsport Regional Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic inpatient setting within a 226-bed Level II Trauma Center serving 14 counties across North Central Pennsylvania.
In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact managing a broad range of complex medical conditions while working alongside an experienced, collaborative hospital medicine team.

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospitalized patients
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and complex medical conditions
-
Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and patient assessments
-
Collaborate with physicians and subspecialists to ensure coordinated care
-
Utilize telemedicine as part of care delivery following orientation

Document care and ensure effective transitions across the care team

Knowledge of growth and development principles
-
Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan

Ability to assess patient data and deliver care per departmental policies
-
Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical stamina and dexterity required for direct patient care

Successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, where applicable.
Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)

Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program

BSN required; MSN preferred

Pennsylvania RN license and CRNP certification
-

Physician Assistant (PA)

Graduation from an ARC‑PA-accredited Physician Assistant program

Bachelor's or master's degree preferred
